Unlock Potential with Life Unboxed EDU

Life Unboxed EDU provides continuing education opportunities to Pizza Hut employees and their immediate family members.  The program provides access to both GED and college courses.

In partnership with Colorado Technical University, Pizza Hut employees can earn college credit for on-the-job training. Employees and their immediate family members also receive discounted tuition rates. At least two employees of Summit Restaurant Group have taken advantage of the program so far.

Kyler Bryan, the RGM in Oak Grove, Missouri, is enrolled in the bachelor's program for a degree in accounting. In addition to receiving 35% reduced tuition, his Learn! Now management training earned him 120 credits – the equivalent of about two years of courses!  “Colorado Tech University has been a very good experience,” Bryan said.

Based on his positive results, Kyler has been an enthusiastic supporter of the Life Unboxed EDU program.  He mentioned that one of his employees plans to enroll soon.

Area Manager Maria Alston enrolled in Excelsior College to finish her BPS in Business and Management in June of 2022. “I learned that I would get a discount on my tuition, I could also obtain credits from Learn! Now courses, and transfer over credits from my time at CSUSM”, Alston said.

With eight-week courses, Maria has been able to manage work, family, and school assignments because the professors offered flexibility and she was able to learn on her own time.  “Having the work experience when completing my course work and having it also help me professionally made me a better leader”, Alston said.  She was able to connect with people in similar professions and roles who had the same personal goals and could provide great feedback and insight. Maria plans to continue her education and enroll for in-person courses.
