HUT 100 Awards Ceremony 2024
The International Pizza Hut Franchise Holders Association (IPHFHA) was founded in 1968 in Wichita, Kansas, with the mission of representing the interests of Pizza Hut franchise holders. The organization focuses on providing cost-effective services to its members by managing and developing the association efficiently.
In addition to supporting franchisees, the IPHFHA also backs charitable and educational initiatives such as the Pizza Hut Foundation and the Book It! program, which aim to give back to the community and promote literacy.
One of the significant events organized by the IPHFHA is the annual HUT 100 Award Ceremony in Phoenix, Arizona. This event celebrates the achievements of various stakeholders within the franchise, including Restaurant General Managers (RGMs), Area Managers (AMs), and franchise owners. Numerous awards are distributed during this ceremony to recognize excellence and outstanding contributions in various categories.
Summit Restaurant Group had six of their RGMs qualify, but only five were able to attend. Linda Leake, SRG's RGM from Sullivan, Missouri, had an amazing experience at the event. She remarked, "Pizza Hut and Summit made me feel extremely special. From the moment we entered the resort, to the end of the awardsbanquet, the celebration was everywhere." For Linda, attending the event was a significant accomplishment. She said, "I worked hard for this all year. I have always wanted to be great at my job, and have set goals for myself, but the best part was being able to share this with my daughter."
Success requires a lot of commitment day in and day out, and every great RGM understands this. It's also not a one-man show; it takes a TEAM. Goalberto from the Calexico, California Pizza Hut stated, "Teamwork is the key to any restaurant's success, so I focused on keeping the group together and engaged, working towards the same goals." After experiencing a slow summer the previous year, Goalberto knew he had to step up his efforts. He explained, "Last summer, our sales were slower than I expected, but we overcame this with the management team's help by saving on labor and increasing our guest check average."
Each RGM has gained a tremendous boost of confidence. That first taste of victory drives the desire for even more success! With exceptional RGMs, progress never stagnates; it only accelerates. Hector from the El Centro, California Pizza Hut expressed, "This recognition means a lot for my store. I believe it will enhance customer experiences by providing better service and better pizzas." He emphasized that their consistency was the key to reaching new heights this past year. Maintaining consistency in their efforts will undoubtedly lead to even greater success in the coming year.
Summit Restaurant Group is very fortunate to have such great employees representing the Franchise. No one achieves great accomplishments by themselves; every success is the result of a whole TEAM's effort. The collective dedication, hard work, and collaboration of each team member are what drive SRG's achievements and set a high standard within the franchise community.
